Chinese Culture Shines at Malta’s Notte Bianca Festival

On October 6, Notte Bianca—Malta’s largest annual arts and culture festival—drew an impressive 70,000 visitors to the capital city of Valletta. For the eighth consecutive year, the China Cultural Center in Malta played an active role in the celebration, partnering with key Chinese cultural bodies such as the China Network of International Culturalink Entities and the China Arts and Crafts Association. The collaboration brought a vibrant array of Chinese cultural experiences to the event, featuring everything from traditional cuisine, painting, and calligraphy to handcrafted arts and traditional Chinese medicine. Visitors also had the chance to engage with ancient skills in a hands-on cultural workshop, where tea-making, ceramics, and embroidery techniques were showcased, offering an immersive taste of China’s rich heritage.
