Mercury Towers & Suites

Duration: 01:10 | Views: 0 | Likes: 0

Mercury Towers most prominently refers to a mixed-use high-rise development in St. Julian’s, Malta.

Architecture: The design is one of the last concept designs personally signed off by the renowned Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid before her death in 2016.
Design Feature: Its most distinctive characteristic is a twist in the structure, particularly between certain floors, giving it a unique, non-conventional silhouette. It is designed to soar to about 32 or 33 floors, making it one of Malta’s tallest buildings.
Integration: The development integrates and restores the historic Mercury House, a Grade II listed structure originally built in 1903 for telecoms infrastructure, creating a juxtaposition of old and new.
Use: It is a comprehensive development that includes luxury residences (Mercury Suites), a hotel (ME Malta by Meliã), retail space, public squares, restaurants, and entertainment facilities.
